Trama del Film
Due cacciatori di taglie sulle tracce di un bandito sanguinario e megalomane.Un cacciatore di taglie, poncho sulle spalle ed eterno sigaro in bocca, si associa con un suo collega, molto più distinto ma altrettanto spietato, per dare la caccia all'Indio. Questi è un feroce fuorilegge che, evaso con l'aiuto dei suoi compari, organizza una rapina alla banca di El Paso. Ma non andrà molto lontano. Dopo lo strepitoso successo di "Per un pugno di dollari" Leone ripropone i suoi personaggi. Eccessivo e barocco, padrone di uno stile immediatamente riconoscibile tra i tanti imitatori già all'opera, Leone consolida la sua fama. Da ricordare Volonté nei panni dell'Indio e la comparsata di Klaus Kinski, gobbo e nevrotico.
